I would have taken 10th at this point of the season if it was offered at the start.

Reason some are disappointed Is because how well we have performed against the top sides. It’s the team and Moyes that set the standard.

It’s frustrating that we got it wrong today and did not win but overall Moyes is doing a good job.

Re: Have we signed a turkey in Said Benrahma?
As others have said, I also think the problem is Moyes not wanting to play him for personal reasons, he (benrahma) looks good to me, puts in a shift and is always looking for the ball.

No, really good player but with a manager who hasnt a fucking clue

It’s the west ham way. Take points and look accomplished against the top sides and then go to shit against lesser opposition. We are known for it.

Re: Have we signed a turkey in Said Benrahma?
I’m fucking fuming about this transfer.

In the position we are in with very little to spend, having had to sacrifice a youth player whilst sending out our second most expensive player out on loan, the utter waste of almost our entire budget on a player that can’t even get in the side is unforgivable.

We might as well cancel the loan and let him get some games as he’ll be worth about 10% of what we’ve agreed to pay by the time he becomes our player officially.

With Haller, Anderson, Benrahma and Diop all out of favour with Moyes, I think maybe replacing him with someone that can actually utilise them is the only way forward.

nychammer 8:08 Sun Dec 27
Re: Have we signed a turkey in Said Benrahma?
Disagree re Moyes. Andersen and Haller (and You have to suspect Benrahama if he’s not getting game time) were not Moyes signings. Even the man who signed Haller could not get him to play effectively in our setup. I suspect Sullivan had a larger say in some of these signings than he should have.

We need players who can complement our squad not who we have to rebuild our squad around. Andersen and Benrahama are luxury players in my opinion. Haller is just useless. We needed another hard working effective striker who can play alongside or instead of Antonio. We otherwise are over reliant on the likes of Soucek for goals and without him to save our blushes we would be embarrassingly goal shy.

Moyes is a better asset to our club than most of these Donkeys. Sullivan getting involved with transfers is how we keep wasting money.

The Myth about us playing well against the top teams carries on.
Fulham win
Sheff Utd win

Man Utd loss
Chelsea loss
Liverpool loss
Arsenal loss

Diangana was supposed to be a squad player,an impact sub and sometimes a starter if he carried on progressing.
Benrhama is playing less than Bowen did at the start of his career with us.
Benrhama was warming up and looked like coming on after half an hour today, but it looked like Moyes told his assistant to wait a few minutes then it was to late.
Pathetic.

you need to stop worrying about league position and realise people were happier because we were trying to win games and playing positive football. the jock cunt gets one injury to a converted left back and has immediately reverted to type, shoehorning a past it noble in to the middle of a great midfield partnership, and leaving us lacking in the final third

Feel sorry for the lad.

Shit manager wants to play defensive and slow against fucking Brighton, when the team is crying out for creativity and attacking football

Believe it or not. You can lose and play well.

Forget to mention the big wins against Leicester and Wolves where we played brilliantly. Best I have seen us in years.

Points against city and spurs also.

I also expected us to beat Brighton. But I’m not going to jump on the Moyes out bandwagon because we were shit today.

Sitting 10th in the league is better than most of us were expecting especially with our thin/ unbalanced squad.

It was one game for fuck sake.

The knicker wetting is unbelievable.

Moyes realised that We were shit and made changes at half time. We were better after that. I gaurantee we will never see that starting 11 again. Lesson learnt and move on.

Negative player selection yes but I won’t criticise the formation as we have been at our best this season when we played 3 at the back. We also have a game in 48 hours time and some of the players on the bench will be playing instead against Southampton.

Should have played this formation against Man U and Chelsea.

Re: Have we signed a turkey in Said Benrahma?
not sure who the fuck you're talking about but that last comment was my first for three days. you clearly haven't taken much notice of moyes in the last if you don't know that he's allardyce lite, and will happily grind out results than be proactive and try and win a game. I appreciate the good start to the season, but the warning signs were there when he delayed playing benrahma (I was one of the few saying he should wait for his chance) and after doing fairly well, suddenly can't get a game because he wants to pick a player who looks like he's had his legs removed. to be honest I couldn't give a shit who he or any other manager picks, because there's only one boss at west ham and it looks like the cunt who used to be on fantasy island. moyes is nothing more than the latest yes man, agreeing to whatever that midget welsh cunt demands

Only one turkey on show today and it wasn't playing on the pitch or sitting on the bench,

dealcanvey 12:41 Mon Dec 28
Re: Have we signed a turkey in Said Benrahma?
So delaying playing benrahma is a warning sign and Moyes is a yes man to Sullivan.

Yet it is common knowledge that benrahma is a Sullivan signing so why isn’t The yes man moyes playing him? Make your mind up.

Benrahma might come good over time but I have not seen anything from him so far to suggest he’s a key player.

I would be asking why didn’t lanzini, yarmalenko or fornals Start ahead of Noble before I would ask why benrahma didn’t.

The signing made no sense at the time and it does not make sense now . 35 million that could have been spent in more crucial areas.

We play again in less than 48 hours. I’m sure the likes of Noble will be nowhere near the 11 and Benrahma may well be.

Then your nicker wetting will be shown for what it is. Nicker wetting.

Re: Have we signed a turkey in Said Benrahma?
Benrahma is definitely a talent, but he isn't intelligent enough to play in our system yet.

He doesn't track back consistently or effectively and gives the ball away too easily. All of this can be trained into him, because he has hunger and desire.

Johnson is the player to watch, he looks like a young Antonio but more disciplined.

Re: Have we signed a turkey in Said Benrahma?
Said was £5m loan fee, £20m to purchase with £5m possible additions.

He's not £35m.

Re: Have we signed a turkey in Said Benrahma?
I would have preferred we sign Eberechi Eze and Olly Dawes in the summer if we could have sold Haller and Anderson or one of them if no-one wanted Haller, Said shows promise but looks a bit lightweight for the premiership at the moment.
